The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) is hosting a “Piranha Pool” event this July 22-24 in Chicago for companies to pitch their ideas to a panel of private equity investors (similar to the TV show “Shark Tank”).  The panel will provide feedback on the presentation, the business idea and strategy, and may also provide investment opportunities.

Interested businesses must meet the following requirements:

  • Have an expected EBITDA of $2 million
  • Are raising capital for their business (e.g. funding for an acquisition, to expand a product line, buyout a non-active owner, etc.)
  • Desire funding of at least $3 million

If your business is interested in applying, you should submit a one-page application including the following information:

  • An overview of your business (product, service, solution)
  • Summary financial information (particularly revenue and EBITDA)
  • Amount of capital you are seeking
  • Use of funds

Applications should be sent to Chris Cheang (amaa@postcp.com) and include Piranha Pool in the subject line.

Three applicants will be selected to present.  Apply ASAP if you’re interested!
